High Priestess Card to Build Confidence

The high priestess is a tarot card that is included under the major arcana. The powerful card represents your connection with the divine feminine and your Highest self. It is a card of intuition, inner wisdom, and courage to face what has been denied or kept in the dark.

Properties of the High Priestess Card

What makes The High Priestess unique from other cards in the major arcana is its message of power in immobility. It promotes reflection and trust in the unknown.

On the card, the female pope is surrounded by two pillars that have inscribed letters “B” and “J” which are pillars to Solomon’s temple representing “strength” and “stability”. The female pope is also holding the scroll of the “Tora” which symbolizes the mysterious secrets to living harmoniously and abundantly.

The energy of the card can also well be seen on the pope’s headdress which is closely associated with the phases of the moon: waxing crescent, full moon, and waning crescent. This expresses the completeness and separateness of the High Priestess from her external environment.

Building Confidence with the High Priestess Card

The High Priestess card is none like the others. It is a card that promotes purposeful immobility and trust in the unknown. As social beings, we are often put into social pressures and tested by the influence of others. For some people, especially young children can bring this trauma as they age – resulting in low self-esteem and lack of confidence.

The High Priestess evokes the power of the triple goddess Hectate, who is known for its three unified distinct states of being and reign as the goddess of magic.

When you are constantly reminded of the magic within you, you become firm in your decisions despite the existing fear of uncertainty.

Fearlessness is different from confidence for two important reasons. Being fearless is impossible because fearlessness incapacitates you of the ability to sense harm or negativity. Whereas confidence allows you to trust in the path the decisions that have paved the way for you despite the existence of fear.

How to Use the High Priestess Card

How to Use the High Priestess Card

When drawn from the deck during a reading, The High Priestess may generally suggest that you see the situation from the perspective of the observer or the witness. When reversed, it may suggest that you might have been keeping your third eye closed from the truth, which might explain scattered energy in the aura.

Overall, the High priestess card is generally a positive card on your relationship with the Divine and the gifts that you are about to receive for listening to her message.

Surprisingly, tarot cards are not limited to tarot reading. The High Priestess card can be utilized in your spiritual practice to evoke the powerful energies that the card holds. You can do this by putting the card in your sacred space or meditating with the card in times when you especially feel that you are unworthy, powerless, and insecure.

You hold all the mysteries therein to live a prosperous and stable life. You control your destiny and everything is within your power. Do not let anything hold you back from living your purpose.

The High Priestess wants you to know that you are complete and you are ready to set the world on fire with your brilliant light! Be firm and steadfast in your decisions. You are where you are supposed to be.
